One minute explainer animation about the threats faced by the Andean bear, inspired by the work of the Andean Bear Foundation in Ecuador. Created as part of a Mograph Mentor assignment and later shared by the foundation on their social channels.

Motion designer responsible for concept, design, asset creation, animation, and compositing. Visual assets were handmade using fabric and felt to reinforce the idea that human actions are both the cause of and solution to the problem. Assets were composited and animated in After Effects using frame by frame animation to emulate a stop motion look, favoring follow through over pose to pose animation.
